Face shape guide
Face shape is the outline of the bone and soft tissue, not a beauty score. Phone cameras distort the jaw when you hold them close, so step back and use a normal mirror.
Once you have a working label, open the haircut and glasses pages for that shape. Those pages are written separately so each outline has its own advice.

In the app
Want a record of face shape guide, not a one-off?
Face shape guide on this page is a single reading. The app saves a scan and the routine that followed it, so the next photo has a baseline.
- Six saved scores: hydration, texture, tone, acne, pores, and redness
- A morning and evening routine built from the scan
- The same face, week after week, so a change shows up as a trend

The science
What face shape guide measures, and how this page does it
- 01
One question, answered from this photo
Face shape guide uses the face in the frame, not a questionnaire. A styling bucket for the outline: oval, round, square, heart, oblong, or diamond, from length-to-width and how wide the jaw is relative to the cheeks.
- 02
Landmarks first, then the number
The photo is drawn to a canvas in your browser. A face landmark model marks 478 points so the measurement uses the face, not the background. Nothing is uploaded.
Landmarks at the hairline, chin, and cheek edges set the box. Length divided by width, plus the jaw-to-cheek ratio, picks the bucket. A close camera widens the jaw, so the label moves if you lean in.

The result on this page, and the record in the app
A styling bucket for the outline: oval, round, square, heart, oblong, or diamond, from length-to-width and how wide the jaw is relative to the cheeks.
The AISkincare app keeps a scan: hydration, texture, tone, acne, pores, and redness, then builds a morning and evening routine from those scores. This page answers once and does not store the photo.

What will throw the number off
This is a cosmetic self-check for education. It is not a diagnosis, a treatment plan, or a measurement from a clinical device.
Bone structure, a haircut, and glasses are not measured. The label is a hint for styling pages. It is not a measurement of attractiveness or of health.
How to read a face shape guide result
Landmarks at the hairline, chin, and cheek edges set the box. Length divided by width, plus the jaw-to-cheek ratio, picks the bucket. A close camera widens the jaw, so the label moves if you lean in.
Use the steps under the tool as the procedure: same light, same distance, same expression, whenever you want a second reading to mean something. The app is where a series of scans can sit next to a routine. This page is the single measurement.
A setup that makes a second photo comparable
Daylight from a window, phone at eye level, an arm's length away, hair off the zones the tool needs, no beauty filter. Tilt in the chin or a camera held low changes several face measurements at once.
If the page warns that the photo looks angled, or that a distance falls outside a usual range, retake before you act on the figure.
One photo is a point. A month is a line.
Face shape guide on a Tuesday includes the light in the room. The same check in the same window next month is the comparison that can show a change. Stacking random selfies from different rooms mostly shows the rooms.
Scan the QR code under the tool with the phone you will keep using. An iPhone is sent to the App Store and an Android phone to Google Play, so the history starts in the right store.
What face shape guide will not claim
Bone structure, a haircut, and glasses are not measured. The label is a hint for styling pages. It is not a measurement of attractiveness or of health.

How to use the result
- Pull hair fully off the forehead and ears.
- Trace the outline on the mirror with a washable marker if it helps.
- Ignore a single selfie taken from below.
Where to go from here
If one part of the result stood out, open the tool that asks only that question. Each one states its limit in the same place, and each one links back to a guide when a longer explanation helps.
- Symmetry self-checkNotice brow, eye, and mouth differences in a mirror. Almost every face is asymmetric. This page does not score attractiveness.
- Facial thirds guideSee whether your upper, middle, or lower third is the one that stands out. This is a proportion lesson, not a golden-ratio score.
- Eye shape guidePlace your eyes as almond, round, hooded, monolid, or upturned or downturned so liner and lashes match the lid you have.
- Lip shape guideName your lip shape from the bow, width, and volume so liner and color placement follow the mouth you have.
