Privacy & Data Security
What an app scan stores, what a browser photo tool never uploads, and how to delete a scan or the whole account.
How Does AISkincare Protect My Data?
AISkincare uses encryption for data in transit and stores your information on secure servers. Facial scan images are processed only on our infrastructure; we do not send them to third-party public AI models or use them to train public/foundation models. Data is retained for a limited time (up to 2 years from your last scan or until account deletion), and you can delete individual scans or your entire account at any time.
We do not sell your data. For full legal details, see our Privacy Policy. For the difference between facial recognition and AI skin scan, read our dedicated guide.
Does AISkincare Sell My Data?
We do not sell your personal information. Data may be shared only with trusted service providers (e.g. hosting, infrastructure) under strict agreements, and where required by law. We do not sell or license your face data or scan results to third parties for advertising or other commercial use. See does AISkincare sell data and the Privacy Policy for full disclosure.
Your Control Over Your Data
You can delete individual scans from the app, or delete your entire account in Settings. Account deletion permanently removes your personal data, including face data and scan history, except where we must retain it for legal reasons. You can also export your data in a portable format. For step-by-step instructions, see delete skin data and the in-app Privacy Policy.
FAQ
Questions about privacy & data security
What does Privacy & Data Security cover?
What an app scan stores, what a browser photo tool never uploads, and how to delete a scan or the whole account. The page is organized around “skincare app privacy” and stays tied to the scores and routines AISkincare can actually show you in the app.
How should I use Privacy & Data Security with a scan?
Read the point this page makes about skincare app privacy, then take a scan and compare it with the six scores. One visit cannot show whether a change helped. A second scan, under similar light, can.
When is Privacy & Data Security the wrong tool?
When the issue is pain, a spreading rash, sudden swelling, or a mark that is changing shape or color. Privacy & Data Security explains skincare app privacy. It does not replace a clinician.
AISkincare for iOS and Android
