Face shape detector
The detector compares face length with width, then jaw width with cheek width, and places the outline in one of six labels.
Hair off the forehead and the camera at eye level matter more than a second guess. The photo is measured on your device and is not uploaded.

In the app
Want a record of face shape detector, not a one-off?
Face shape detector on this page is a single reading. The app saves a scan and the routine that followed it, so the next photo has a baseline.
- Six saved scores: hydration, texture, tone, acne, pores, and redness
- A morning and evening routine built from the scan
- The same face, week after week, so a change shows up as a trend
Scan with your phone. iPhone opens the App Store. Android opens Google Play.
The science
What face shape detector measures, and how this page does it
- 01
One question, answered from this photo
Face shape detector uses the face in the frame, not a questionnaire. A styling bucket for the outline: oval, round, square, heart, oblong, or diamond, from length-to-width and how wide the jaw is relative to the cheeks.
- 02
Landmarks first, then the number
The photo is drawn to a canvas in your browser. A face landmark model marks 478 points so the measurement uses the face, not the background. Nothing is uploaded.
Landmarks at the hairline, chin, and cheek edges set the box. Length divided by width, plus the jaw-to-cheek ratio, picks the bucket. A close camera widens the jaw, so the label moves if you lean in.

The result on this page, and the record in the app
A styling bucket for the outline: oval, round, square, heart, oblong, or diamond, from length-to-width and how wide the jaw is relative to the cheeks.
The AISkincare app keeps a scan: hydration, texture, tone, acne, pores, and redness, then builds a morning and evening routine from those scores. This page answers once and does not store the photo.

What will throw the number off
This is a cosmetic reading of one photo on your device. Lighting, lens, and angle change the numbers. It is not a diagnosis or a clinical measurement.
Bone structure, a haircut, and glasses are not measured. The label is a hint for styling pages. It is not a measurement of attractiveness or of health.
How to read a face shape detector result
Landmarks at the hairline, chin, and cheek edges set the box. Length divided by width, plus the jaw-to-cheek ratio, picks the bucket. A close camera widens the jaw, so the label moves if you lean in.
Use the steps under the tool as the procedure: same light, same distance, same expression, whenever you want a second reading to mean something. The app is where a series of scans can sit next to a routine. This page is the single measurement.
A setup that makes a second photo comparable
Daylight from a window, phone at eye level, an arm's length away, hair off the zones the tool needs, no beauty filter. Tilt in the chin or a camera held low changes several face measurements at once.
If the page warns that the photo looks angled, or that a distance falls outside a usual range, retake before you act on the figure.
One photo is a point. A month is a line.
Face shape detector on a Tuesday includes the light in the room. The same check in the same window next month is the comparison that can show a change. Stacking random selfies from different rooms mostly shows the rooms.
Scan the QR code under the tool with the phone you will keep using. An iPhone is sent to the App Store and an Android phone to Google Play, so the history starts in the right store.
What face shape detector will not claim
Bone structure, a haircut, and glasses are not measured. The label is a hint for styling pages. It is not a measurement of attractiveness or of health.

How to use the result
- Use a photo taken by the rear camera, or by someone else, at arm's length.
- Face the light. Do not use a portrait filter.
- Keep hair off the forehead if you want the outline and thirds to settle.
Where to go from here
If one part of the result stood out, open the tool that asks only that question. Each one states its limit in the same place, and each one links back to a guide when a longer explanation helps.
- Attractiveness testSee the face ratios people confuse with an attractiveness score. This page does not rate you from 1 to 10. The photo stays on your device.
- Celebrity look alikeDescribe the outline and eyes people use in a look-alike comparison. Your photo is not matched to a celebrity and is not uploaded.
- Golden ratio faceCompare face length, width, and thirds from a photo with the 1.618 diagram. No attractiveness score.
- Canthal tiltMeasure the angle of each eye from inner corner to outer corner. Positive means the outer corner sits higher. Your photo is not uploaded.
