Side profile: what a photo can show
Profile talk online often cites an E-line from nose tip to chin and then ranks people. A phone photo taken from the wrong height changes the nose and chin enough to make that line meaningless.
Use a relaxed side photo only to notice whether the chin sits far behind or far ahead of the lips in your own consistent setup. Take surgical questions to a clinician who measures in person.

Want a record of profile balance guide, not a one-off?
Profile balance guide on this page is a single reading. The app saves a scan and the routine that followed it, so the next photo has a baseline.
- Six saved scores: hydration, texture, tone, acne, pores, and redness
- A morning and evening routine built from the scan
- The same face, week after week, so a change shows up as a trend

The science
What profile balance guide measures, and how this page does it
- 01
One question, answered from this photo
Profile balance guide uses the face in the frame, not a questionnaire. A cautious read of front-photo depth order: how the brow, nose, and chin stack. A front camera cannot see a true side profile.
- 02
Landmarks first, then the number
The photo is drawn to a canvas in your browser. A face landmark model marks 478 points so the measurement uses the face, not the background. Nothing is uploaded.
The tool uses the relative placement of midline landmarks and says, plainly, that this is a weak estimate. A real profile is a photo taken from the side.

The result on this page, and the record in the app
A cautious read of front-photo depth order: how the brow, nose, and chin stack. A front camera cannot see a true side profile.
The AISkincare app keeps a scan: hydration, texture, tone, acne, pores, and redness, then builds a morning and evening routine from those scores. This page answers once and does not store the photo.

What will throw the number off
This is a cosmetic self-check for education. It is not a diagnosis, a treatment plan, or a measurement from a clinical device.
Bite, a receding chin, and nasal projection need a side photo or a clinician. Do not treat this front-view note as that measurement.
How to read a profile balance guide result
The tool uses the relative placement of midline landmarks and says, plainly, that this is a weak estimate. A real profile is a photo taken from the side.
Use the steps under the tool as the procedure: same light, same distance, same expression, whenever you want a second reading to mean something. The app is where a series of scans can sit next to a routine. This page is the single measurement.
A setup that makes a second photo comparable
Daylight from a window, phone at eye level, an arm's length away, hair off the zones the tool needs, no beauty filter. Tilt in the chin or a camera held low changes several face measurements at once.
If the page warns that the photo looks angled, or that a distance falls outside a usual range, retake before you act on the figure.
One photo is a point. A month is a line.
Profile balance guide on a Tuesday includes the light in the room. The same check in the same window next month is the comparison that can show a change. Stacking random selfies from different rooms mostly shows the rooms.
Scan the QR code under the tool with the phone you will keep using. An iPhone is sent to the App Store and an Android phone to Google Play, so the history starts in the right store.
What profile balance guide will not claim

How to use the result
- Camera at nose height, not from below.
- Teeth at rest, lips closed, hair off the forehead.
- Compare two photos taken the same way, not a selfie and a movie still.
Where to go from here
If one part of the result stood out, open the tool that asks only that question. Each one states its limit in the same place, and each one links back to a guide when a longer explanation helps.
- Pupillary distance helperEstimate distance PD from a front photo, scaled by the iris, on your device. Confirm the millimeters with an optician before you order glasses.
- True mirrorFlip a photo in the browser so you see the face other people see. The image stays on your device and is not uploaded.
