Eye color and eyeshadow direction
Iris color shifts with light, clothing, and dilation. This page samples the iris in your browser and names the closest everyday color. If you already know it, trust that over a warm bulb.
Shadow does not need to match the iris. Contrast next to it is what makes the eye look clearer. The quiz below is there if you would rather not use a photo.

In daylight your eyes read as:
In the app
Want a record of eye color detector, not a one-off?
Eye color detector on this page is a single reading. The app saves a scan and the routine that followed it, so the next photo has a baseline.
- Six saved scores: hydration, texture, tone, acne, pores, and redness
- A morning and evening routine built from the scan
- The same face, week after week, so a change shows up as a trend
Scan with your phone. iPhone opens the App Store. Android opens Google Play.
The science
What eye color detector measures, and how this page does it
- 01
One question, answered from this photo
Eye color detector uses the face in the frame, not a questionnaire. A color name for the iris from pixels inside the iris ring: the hue that dominates once the pupil and the catchlight are left out.
- 02
Landmarks first, then the number
The photo is drawn to a canvas in your browser. A face landmark model marks 478 points so the measurement uses the face, not the background. Nothing is uploaded.
Iris landmarks bound a ring. Those pixels are averaged in hue. Catchlights, colored contacts, and a strong blue screen nearby can tint the sample.

The result on this page, and the record in the app
A color name for the iris from pixels inside the iris ring: the hue that dominates once the pupil and the catchlight are left out.
The AISkincare app keeps a scan: hydration, texture, tone, acne, pores, and redness, then builds a morning and evening routine from those scores. This page answers once and does not store the photo.

What will throw the number off
This is a cosmetic self-check for education. It is not a diagnosis, a treatment plan, or a measurement from a clinical device.
Hazel that shifts in daylight, a dark limbal ring, and heterochromia between the two eyes are easy to miss in one exposure. The name is the photo's iris, not a genetic label.
How to read a eye color detector result
Iris landmarks bound a ring. Those pixels are averaged in hue. Catchlights, colored contacts, and a strong blue screen nearby can tint the sample.
Use the steps under the tool as the procedure: same light, same distance, same expression, whenever you want a second reading to mean something. The app is where a series of scans can sit next to a routine. This page is the single measurement.
A setup that makes a second photo comparable
Daylight from a window, phone at eye level, an arm's length away, hair off the zones the tool needs, no beauty filter. Tilt in the chin or a camera held low changes several face measurements at once.
If the page warns that the photo looks angled, or that a distance falls outside a usual range, retake before you act on the figure.
One photo is a point. A month is a line.
Eye color detector on a Tuesday includes the light in the room. The same check in the same window next month is the comparison that can show a change. Stacking random selfies from different rooms mostly shows the rooms.
Scan the QR code under the tool with the phone you will keep using. An iPhone is sent to the App Store and an Android phone to Google Play, so the history starts in the right store.
What eye color detector will not claim

How to use the result
- Name the color people see in daylight.
- Hazel means a mix, often brown near the pupil and green or gold outward.
- Gray is not a failed blue.
Where to go from here
If one part of the result stood out, open the tool that asks only that question. Each one states its limit in the same place, and each one links back to a guide when a longer explanation helps.
- Skin tone finderSample cheek color in the browser and read a depth plus undertone. The photo is not uploaded. Confirm the match in daylight.
- Undertone from a photoEstimate warm, cool, neutral, or olive undertone from cheek color in the browser. Pair it with the no-photo vein quiz if the lamp looks wrong.
- Color season from a photoCombine depth, undertone, and hair-to-skin contrast from a photo into a spring, summer, autumn, or winter direction. Measured in the browser.
- Undertone quizUse jewelry, veins, and how skin looks in sun to estimate warm, cool, neutral, or olive undertone for makeup and hair color.
