Seasonal color analysis
What spring, summer, autumn, and winter palettes mean, and how a four-season quiz differs from a twelve-season chart.
What a season is
Seasonal color analysis sorts coloring into spring, summer, autumn, or winter so lipstick, shirts, and hair color sit nearer the skin instead of turning it gray or orange. It is a wardrobe system, not a skin type and not a scan.
Take the color analysis quiz if you want a four-season starting point from depth, undertone, and contrast. The quiz is a shorter version of the charts. It does not upload a photo.
The four seasons, briefly
Spring is warm and light or clear: peach, coral, warm pink. Summer is cool and soft: rose, lavender, soft navy. Autumn is warm and deeper or muted: rust, olive, cream. Winter is cool and high contrast: true red, black, jewel tones.
Twelve-season names such as soft autumn split those four again. They are useful after the four feel right, not before. A palette that looks wrong at the jaw is wrong, even if a chart assigned it.
What a season does not decide
A season does not choose a face shape, a retinoid, or a medical treatment. Outline is oval face shape. Actives are retinol and vitamin C.
Use the color analysis quiz again if the first answer felt like a coin flip, and check it in daylight. The AISkincare download is for skin scores, not for a palette.
